Dynamic Curriculum

As residents will advance through their three-year training program, they shift from primarily inpatient rotations to a focus on outpatient care. Our mission is to train all rounder primary care physicians, who can serve the communities in several roles. Due to unique nature of training, residents will be ready to practice in out-patient, in-patient and hybrid settings. In addition, training is designed to provide opportunities to pursue fellowship training, certifications of added qualifications and careers parallel to medicine.

Lifestyle and Functional Medicine

Our program will be training residents on the principles of lifestyle and functional medicine. Program faculty is trained to address lifestyle based management and interventions. This means harnessing the power of healthy lifestyle, addressing root cause of disease and placing greater emphasis on prevention than treatment. Program director and a few faculty are board certified in functional medicine and has several years of functional medicine practice experience.
